I usually come here after having dinner in the Annex and am looking for a quick dessert. This teashop 168 doesn't disappoint. You can get great bubble tea for half the price of other chains and dessert shops in downtown Toronto.
I usually order my usual original bubble tea with no sugar and less ice. The small size costs around $2 after tax. I don't think you can find bubble tea this cheap anywhere else in Toronto!! The taste is great and very light which is great especially after eating a massive dinner.
The staff here are pretty prompt and can prepare your bubble tea almost right away. At night there usually isn't a lineup so you can place your order and receive your drink within a matter of minutes. There's a ton of spots for seating as well - probably a good place to catch up with friends at. Overall this is definitely a must visit for me if you are a regular bubble tea drinker. -

This location probably has some of the best drink specials year round! Their specials are super cheap and the taste is very comparable to any other bubble tea shop you can find.
They are also the only location I've come across that offers jumbo sizes! The jumbo size is honestly no joke, it looks like it's about 1.5 liters of tea--the cup is bigger than my head!
It's a great, affordable bubble tea location that I will be visiting again!
PS: I highly recommend NOT getting the food, since it's very half-assed despite the cheap price. -

Tried their fried chicken. It's worth a try. I recommend it. The bubble tea is also pretty good too. Customer service is about 8 out of 10. I would have gave 5 stars but there was a negative experience that prevented me. But overall, I do recommend.

I can't believe this location was not on Yelp! The staff are always nice! Great selection of teas and yummy food. Clean space.
They have a monthly special on the 20th of each month: refills for $1 on the VIP bottle, toppings are extra. -

After years of passing by multiple Teashop 168 locations today was the day my girlfriend decided she wanted to give this place a try and since I was extremely thirsty also, it was time I got me the chocolate smoothie! The shop itself isn't very large but offers enough seating to do the trick. The drinks we ordered took under 4 minutes to make so that was also a plus! When I took my first sip of the Chocolate smoothie (which was about 400-500 calories LESS then a milkshake) I thought I was drinking a really good chocolate shake, and that's the exact taste I was hoping for! Overall, what I ordered was really good and it's definitely something I would order again. Since I'm not a huge tea/bubble tea guy my review is a little tainted but let's be real, a chocolate smoothie is worthy of a 4 star rating on it's own.
